Look out for a new fruit next time you’re in Marks and Spencer as they will soon be stocking a new “wonder berry” called the aronia berry, which contains three times as many antioxidants as blueberries.
Originating in North America, it is now being grown in Scotland by Thomas Thomson Blairgowrie. M&S claim they have decided to stock the sharp tasting berry to meet consumer demand for healthy berries.
Types Of Juicer

There are a couple of different types of juicer available on the market.
Masticating Juicer - this type of juicer “masticates” i.e chews up the fruit, which means you get more of the fibre from the fruit in the actual end product. A good example of this type of juicer is the famous Champion 2000 juicer.
Centrifugal Juicer - A centrifugal juicer spins a filter around at high speed and uses centrifugal energy to bounce the pulp back out whilst absorbing the juicer through the filter as you push the fruit down against the filter. This is a very common type of juicer on the high street.
Citrus Juicer - A citrus juicer allows you to extract the juicer from a citrus fruit, such as an orange or lemon. Usually involves half the fruit being squashed down and hollowed out by a grooved reamer.
Moulinex JuiceMachine Pro JU500815

The Moulinex JuiceMachine Pro is a very good mid range fruit juicer. The vertical whole fruit feeder makes it a breeze to drop in fruits such as apples, oranges and pears with out chopping. Simply drop them in and push down the tube. The 600w engine has two speeds, one for soft fruit and one for the harder. As with almost any juicer, cleaning continues to be the troublesome part but once you’ve done it a few times you soon rind your ryhthm and it becomes an easy task. Like the Breville JE24, it has a large arm which has to lock in place before you can juice, requiring to make sure all the detachable parts are in place properly, which is a nice safety feature.
A solidly built, attractive juicer which will look great in any kitchen. You can pick it up at your usual retailers for around the fifty pound mark.

The study also named concord grape juice, blueberry juice, black cherry juice, acai juice, cranberry juice, orange juice, tea and apple juice as being very beneficial because of their high anti-oxidants.
