Breville is one of the most innovative names in small kitchen appliances - I must admit, I am a big fan of the Hot Cup - and for this juicer they teamed up with celebrity chef, Anthony Worrall Thompson.
As is expected these days on a juicer in this price range, the JE15 comes with a large shoot for extracting the juice from whole fruits. The time saved in chopping and prepping fruit is a real boon so this is a feature that shouldn't be overlooked.
It's powered by a powerful 950w motor which compares very favourably with the 700w motor in the ever-popular HR1861 from Philips. The benefits of a high powered engine is that you extract more juice from the produce, as evidenced by the dryer pulp that's left over.
A large 1litre juice jug is supplied with it, and the froth separating design will keep the head off your fresh fruit and vegetable creation.
Unfortunately, nobody has invented a really easy way to clean a juicer yet but the JE15 does dis-assemble and re-assemble simply enough so this is about as easy as cleaning one will get.
If you are looking for a smart, powerful juicer for regular juicing at home with a price point of about £100, then the AWT (Anthony Worrall Thompson) Breville JE15 is certainly one to consider.
